Look no further than the Wednesday Points Game at Poplar Grove Golf Club! Our weekly game kicked off on April 10th and is running every Wednesday through September 25th, it’s your chance to tee off, test your skills, and enjoy some great company.
Here’s what you need to know:
Date: Every Wednesday, starting April 10th, 2024
Time: Shotgun Start @ 5:30 PM
Format: 9 Holes
Participation: Everyone starts at 5:30 PM sharp!
Cost: $20 Cash Game plus appropriate playing fee
Requirements: Active USGA handicap required to play.
Tees:
- Ages 49 and younger: Blue Tees
- Ages 50-64: White Tees
- Ages 65 and older: Gold Tees
- Ladies: Red Tees
Game Description:
Get ready for excitement with our Skins Game and Points game system, accompanied by a season-long ringer leaderboard. We’ll be alternating the 9 holes each week, so every round brings a fresh challenge.
Points System:
- Double Bogey or worse: 0 points
- Bogey: 1 point
- Par: 2 points
- Birdie: 4 points
- Eagle: 6 points
Additional Features:
Players are given a quota of points to earn based on their handicap. Plus, all players are entered into a gross-only skins game, ensuring there’s something for everyone.
