2024 Member-Guest at Poplar Grove!

We’re excited to announce the 2024 Poplar Grove Member Guest Golf Tournament, a premier event that promises three days of thrilling golf, delicious food, and great company. This year’s tournament will take place from May 30th to June 1st, and we’d love for you to join us!

Event Details:

  1. Dates: Thursday, May 30th to Saturday, June 1st
  2. Format:
  3. Thursday: 5:00 PM, 9-hole par 3 contest (2-person scramble) with optional skins
  4. Friday: Three 9-hole matches (Best Ball format)
  5. Saturday: Two 9-hole matches (Best Ball format)
  6. Times:
  7. Friday: 8:00 AM shotgun start
  8. Saturday: 9:00 AM shotgun start

Additional Highlights:

  1. All teams will play 5, 9-hole matches within their flight.
  2. Flight winners will compete in an alternate shot shootout to determine the overall winner.
  3. Participants must have a valid GHIN handicap (no partner with a handicap 10+ shots higher).
  4. Prizes: Tee gifts for all players and awards for overall and flight winners.

Food Schedule:

  1. Thursday: Hors d’oeuvres at 7:15 PM
  2. Friday: Boxed lunch from 1:30-2:00 PM
  3. Saturday: Buffet lunch from 2:30-3:00 PM

Tees:

  1. Men 49 and younger: Blues
  2. Men 50-64: Whites
  3. Men 65+: Golds
  4. Ladies: Reds

Practice Round: Cart fee for event participants.

Entry Deadline: May 12th

Cost: $540/team (optional Calcutta available)
